Ghost Towns Program Ghost Towns
3rd - 6th grade:
During this one hour presentation, students will learn about forgotten towns left over from the mining booms in California and across the west. Through Stories and slide show, a portable museum and a model ghost town, Bruce will take your students on a journey into the past, showing them how it effects our world today.

A great followup to the assembly is Bruce's workshop on model building. This is a hands on art project where students design and construct their own old west bulding.
Ghost Towns Program Johnny Appleseed "The Hero of Ohio"
K - 5th grade
For thousands of elementary school children, Bruce Isham is Johnny Appleseed as he tells and sings his story. Bruce celebrates the seeds of character that makes Johnny Appleseed a model for all ages. This exciting program will encourage your students to follow in the footsteps of a true American hero!
Ghost Towns Program Stories of the Old West
K - 2nd grade
With humor, drama and adventure, Bruce will give your students a look at the Old West, from the Gold Rush, to the Railroads, to the Cowboys. Thrown into the mixture is a lively hamonica and interactive stories.
Traveling Across America Program Traveling Across America
3rd - 8th grade
This is a storytelling of American history by modes of transportation and the people who helped build America. It begins with the early pioneers moving across the country and ends with the building of highways. Along the way students will hear about the wagon trains, the pony express, stagecoaches and railroads as well as several American heroes who made a significant contribution to the development of the country. Thrown into the mixture is Bruce's story "A Tale Of Two Trains" which is sure to capture the imagination of the students.
